Perkahwinan Jidin dengan Shana (Final episode - The crew)

Salam all,
So here is the poster of us with our 'partner-in-crime', Adam and Wa, the lovely couple.
We don't called ourselves 'The Pekida's' just like in the poster below. It was just I thought it suit the best with color scheme I used - red, yellow and green. What are we without RGB and CYMK right? Even 'towkey printing' needs a color...
P.S - Can someone here teach me how to put a 'banner' up there? I had paste the picture's URL linked from my blogspot. But, it didn't rightly published...

Ok, Hatta and I personally were eager to shoot 'portrait' than 'landscape'. It seem that we like to capture people before they 'capture' us.
These pictures were taken on the wedding day. Of course we like to upload children pictures. Their facial expression are naive and more sincere than us. We, the elders tend to be 'hypocrite' at a time in pursuit of our own profit. That's what we called the category of 'manusia yang sentiasa berdosa'. The children, on contrary were full of joy and bliss. And they weren't a type of 'materialistic'.

Before we checked-in the hotel, we sent Jidin to his villa (Spanish Villa) where his temporary place before his 'rombongan' went to Shana's house on the next day. This Spanish Villa was too been 'booked' for Jidin's family (4 cars) which came all along from Terengganu. The house at this villa was of course way more 'grandiose' than our so called '2 stars'. This time, Hatta and I were playing with Jidin's Sony SLR for the wedding's shot on the day after. Now, we had been using 2 kind of SLR, the recent Lou's Minolta and now, Jidin's Sony. You see why we don't buy ourselves a SLR?
Please ignore the 'TV series' behind it. It was 'Latin's soap-opera'.

Remembered I wrote last time about our trip to Johor where we slept at the budget hotel? Our second project which was at Seremban, had been 'sponsored' by our cliente, Mrs Shana (Jidin's wife). She booked us 3 rooms at Hotel Carlton Star, near Seremban Parade ( I think so..). One room for us, one for Adam and Wa, and another one for Shana's 'pengapit' (what we called woman who act like 'best man'?), Nat. That was indeed the 'advantages' to shoot video for our friend's wedding, just like I told you before.
Ok, this hotel was not like our first hotel, of course. This was 2 star's hotel. So, you can simply differentiate the two of it. I did asked the front desk girl in a humor way, 'where were another 3 stars have gone'? She smiled. These pictures below were taken the morning after we checked-in, before we went to the wedding's reception with Adam and Wa. Wait for another upload guys. This was just the 'beginning', hehe...

So, why did Hatta and I 'jalan-jalan di Johor' recently? The answer is that we've been asked by our close friend, Sabri to shoot his wedding's video in his hometown, Kulai, Johor. In additional, we borrowed Lou's SLR camera to captured still photos. Just like old proverb says, 'sambil menyelam minum air' (I don't know how to swim, muahaha).
FYI, I was amongst the first of all his friends to know about their relationship when they were still in get-to-know process (in which we called 'proses jatuh cinta'). He used to express his feeling toward Farah to me in many occasions but not too often. Now, it is indeed my 'responsibility' to fulfil his request in shooting their wedding's video. I didn't know Farah individually and never met her until they got engaged a year back. For my part, it's kinda flattered me a lot to accept this project.. and felt a bit of 'sensation' too
I can't upload all their pictures plus the bride-and-groom pictures now because it is against the law of intellect properties and such a copyright's infringement, hehe. (study law, guys!) So, what I did here just uploaded the pictures of his family members. I will upload the wedding's shot after I get permission from Sabri himself, THE bridegroom. So, enjoy the pics and if you want to give comments, do not hesitate yourself. Thank you.
See that 'widescreen' snapshots up there? We were not using wide lenses, it was just mere a bit of 'creativity' in cropping the images...Yeah, you will knew a lot more photographers out there who were keen to crop the pictures in this way. But, please take note, 'creativity' wasn't created at a first place. It was improvised gradually in time by the 'artist' based on his/her experience (if you think you are the artist, haha). Hmm, that's my quote there...

We just finished shooting two wedding's video for our friends, Sabri and Jidin. Up till now, we were busy in editing and putting final touch-up for the pictures and videos. In the mean time, we upload this little girl's picture which we think the 'best' for your viewing pleasure. Thank you.
Owh, I don't like to elaborate more here because I want you guys to 'see' and not mere 'read'. Therefore, just like everybody says, 'A picture tells a thousand words'. Right?

Where did you guys sleep? (FAQ)
|
|
Forgot to mention earlier, Hatta and I did travelled around Johor Bahru with full velocity till we felt so damn tired! Just before night, after we finished shot a wedding's video for our friend (Sabri), we drove to Johor Bahru where our first intention was to find a HOT SPOT for 'lepak-sampai-lebam' thingy. After that we would find a place to sleep. But, unfortunately, both of us didn't ever been in Johor before. (I've been twice but not really 'otai' with the road circulation there). So, what did we do, after photo session at Danga Bay,(where we started to feel dizzy 'nak pengsan') we asked for help from one pump's attendant and he showed us the way to the nearest budget hotel (Rumah tumpangan).
The hotel called Hotel Sri Sayang (not Sri Malaysia eh..) near Skudai. With RM45 for checked-in on one night, we found it practical to sleep there as we didn't have much time for another hotel's hunting (the clock was already past 12 midnight). I didn't wait to much before 'pengsan' and woke up the morning after. Hatta too seem 'pengsan' all night long. On that early morning, I grabbed my 'gun'(alaa, that Ricoh la) and went for another shooting spree, yeehaa! Hatta as always, still enjoying his 'wet' dream. Ok guys, enjoy the pictures below! Hey, I told to 'enjoy' not 'see' ok!
Ok guys, please make sure the bucket is by your side before you vomit.
Another artsy-fartsy picture by me.
Our 'singgahsana'. Bet Datuk K will get jealous with us.

Jalan-jalan di Johor (Batu Pahat/Segamat? Not sure)
|
|
Ok, when we arrived at this place, I found it really weird to take pictures because it was so crowded! Phew, I hate it when it so packed and full of 'mat-rempits'. A bit of anti-social maybe. But, anyway, just like every professional photographer(?) and photographer wannabe, I don't really give a damn for it. Just took out my 'gun'(Ricoh Caplio) and shot wherever I want to. And the rest was history...
Hatta? Owh, he disappeared just within I switched off the car's engine at the parking spot. 20 minutes later, he came back with that funny look upon his face. Yeah, the face of 'innocent' guy who got what he want for...the 'pleasure'. So guys, enjoy the pictures below!
Hatta did it well then..
Just a second before Hatta been 'pelangkung'ed by her father.
Sorry Adam, the date is still there.

Jalan-jalan di Johor (Batu Pahat)
|
|
These pictures were taken when we stopped at Pekan Batu Pahat. This old building with Gothic architectural style (or we may called 'colonial' style) reminded me how fragile our life is. With the ongoing process of urbanization and modernization, nothing much can we do to conserve it. History remains the same...ignorance still the greatest enemy of our cultural preservation. Sometimes I do feel very skeptical and doubtful about our so called Vision 2020. Hope I'm just a little paranoia maybe.
Taken by Hatta with Lou's SLR what can we expect?
Taken by me with my brother's Ricoh. Not bad eh?
